Baby Photography

What do the Portrait Sessions consist of ?

1) Consultation Visit (except newborns): This is very important as it gives us chance to meet with you and for us to introduce ourselves to the children. It also offers the opportunity for us to discuss the potential areas that can be utilised for the photoshoot.

2) Photoshoot: Depending on the age & number of children involved a typical shoot can take anywhere between 1 1/2 to 3 hours, but we don't rush or 'clock watch'. Our aim is to produce as many high quality pictures as the circumstances allow. If this in reality takes a short amount of time then all to the well & good. If, on the other hand, things take a little longer this is fine with us, patience and understanding being the key.

3)The finished photography will be presented via a private, online viewing area within 2 weeks of the shoot. If you do not have access to the internet other arrangements can be made.

4) Included in the price of each package are 1 A3 and 2 A4 double-mounted prints.

5) Geographical Area Covered: We are more than willing to travel any distance, locations within a 20 mile radius of Ipswich carry no travel charge. If you live outside of this area please contact us at which point we can provide you with the additional charge rates. These are to cover travel costs incurred by the consultation visit and on the day of the shoot.

PACKAGES AVAILABLE:
Newborn (up to 2 months) £185 We offer a session of around one hour for new arrivals as we want to offer you a cost effective way of capturing this special time. On average between 25-40 finished photos will be presented. These will usually be made up of the following combinations: Mum & Baby, Dad & Baby, Mum & Dad with Baby and Baby on their own.

Babies 2 months-18 months £255 The session is for one child for a duration of between 1 1/2 - 3 hours. During this time, and depending on circumstances, we aim to produce around 35-55 photographs. These can be taken in various locations around your home & garden using whatever clothes & props you feel appropriate. Mum & Dad are more than welcome to be included in the shots although group shots aren't taken for a number of important reasons. Our primary aim is to capture the individual child &, generally speaking, formal family portraits are better taken in a studio setting.
